2am. Safe and sound.
the best part was dinner tonight. We stopped at a rest stop in iowa to cook some inner on our camp stove: israeli couscous, seasoned green beans, corn on the cob, hot dogs and mac and cheese (sorta) for kids. Fresh mango appetizers to boot. As we sat down, e with pure delight in her eyes asked, 'so how was your day today mom?' I answered that I had had a wonderful day with my favorite people. She then answered my questions of how was her day and what did she do? She said, 'i played at the park ALL day!' I am glad that is what she remembered from our long, long day. We did stop three times to play at three 'parks' (rest stops). And I took pics but the palm pre is not slick enough to post them right now....
