From Mom/Grandma:

Yesterday Dad (Grandpa) and I drove to Branson, MO. We followed Damon's car with Roark's car bringing up the rear. Chad and Taylor drove with us in our car. We listened to the audio book, "Phantom of the Opera". It captured our interest and the trip went quickly and enjoyably. Chad and Taylor did their own thing in the back seat.

Today Roark planned wonderful activities for us in Branson. We went from one activity and entertainment to another, beginning with a ride on a vehicle that goes on land and water. In going behind the scenes at the production of "Noah-The Musical" we got more of a realistic idea of the monumental size, accomplishment, and challenge that Noah and his family faced in building the arc and bringing all of the animals on board. It was huge in size!!!!!!!!!!! Taylor made the comment that the picture on the blackboards in church classes just doesn't get across the size and immensity of the arc. Our last event was the "Dixie Stampede". It was a rousing performance, providing enjoyable entertainment of excellent horse skills. Dinner was served during the performance. Dad (Grandpa) was in a horseshoe throwing contest and made us all proud by winning. Prior to the show we enjoyed an incredible juggler and entertainer. We are looking forward to our drive to Nauvoo tomorrow. Thus far our trip has been wonderful - and being with family has made it even better!!!!
